Performance Evaluation of BRT Standard in Decision Support System for Integrated Transportation Policy

Increased urbanization implicated in the form of increased vehicles on roads which burdened limited resources and caused environmental deterioration. To reduce these effects, a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system was considered right solution, requiring minimal infrastructure, as compared to other mass transit options, yet demanding great expertise. This research analyses BRT systems four cities Pakistan performance evaluation standards is conducted by developing statistical model evaluate predictive standard, results identifying parameters used improve BRT, thus resulting improved Institute for Transportation Development Policy (ITDP) standard. As per ITDP, Peshawar ranked Gold, whereas Lahore Rawalpindi/Islamabad Multan were Silver. Research describes that ITDP rating can be significantly enhanced if worked direction, taking into account standards; an example follow existing future Pakistan. If fully integrated networks routes corridors Lahore, have been developed, predicts enhancement ratings. paper will assist transport policy makers strategize accordance with standard developed quality BRT.
